I am a pit road reporter for NASCAR on ESPN and I have a hectic schedule that sees me on the go for about 40 weekends a year.  My job keeps me on my feet and running during a five-hour broadcast, every week.  Being that I am on TV and in the entertainment business, it is very important to keep myself fit.  I was all about keeping my body fat low and keeping my endurance level at a premium so I could perform at my peak. For over 2 ½ years, Rick did a great job in helping me meet all of these demands. He was a very instrumental part of my health and well-being. We trained on a regular basis, in the gym, with weights and doing cardio.  He is very good and adjusted workouts to meet my specific goals.  His workouts were fun, never boring, never monotonous and always informative.

I was at a point in my fitness program that I had reached a plateau and become bored; then I met Rick Baird.  Rick is a fitness expert, not just a personal trainer.  He helps monitor diet and lifestyle as well as time actually spent with him in the gym.   In just under a year, Rick was able to help me bring my body fat percentage down from 18% to 11%.  I’m in better shape at 39 than I was at 29!  I wish I had been introduced to Rick sooner … too many wasted years at the gym with no direction!

I was entering my freshman year of high school. I expected to be starting on the varsity baseball team as a freshman, but I wasn’t in the right shape. My strength levels were not where they needed to be in order to play varsity athletics as a freshman. It was my dad’s decision to put me with a personal trainer, and Rick Baird was his choice. His past credentials were the selling point, and working out with him was even more of a selling point. I dropped fifteen pounds in the first month and a half, and then put it back on as muscle. Instead of being chunky, I was now a strapping young man due to the efforts of Rick Baird. If I hadn’t been pushed through Ricks training methods like he pushed me I would never be where I am today physically. His workouts were tough, and they literally changed me physically and mentally. I am now playing college baseball and I plan to be playing professional baseball in the next year or two. I can set my goals that high because the work Rick put in with me as a fourteen and fifteen year old. I am nineteen years old now, and I still train the same way Rick had me train because it was affective in so many ways. Rick knows how to get the best out of his clients.
